Irrigation system only - Polytunnel not included.
A Polytunnel means you take over from Mother Nature when it comes to controlling the elements. Which also means you're entirely responsible for irrigation...something that can be very time consuming. Unless, that is, you let First Tunnels give you a helping hand.
Irrigation is an option for all sizes of Polytunnel but for bigger Polytunnels especially, our advice is to forget about watering cans and hose pipes. They're hard work. They're wasteful. And saturating everything once a day...especially in hot weather...is far from being an ideal practice. Instead, we recommend you install an overhead irrigation system. Not only will it make your life a whole lot easier, but you’ll be amazed how quickly it will pay for itself in terms of saved time, saved money (especially if your water is metered) and improved productivity.
This system suspends below central ridge of the polytunnel. Supplied with a header pipe, down tubes, sprinklers, inline tap, pressure regulator and hose connector. The First Tunnels system features 30cm downtubes incorporating a weight to make sure it hangs true, and an anti-drip device with stable sprayer which keeps the spray lines primed and ready for instant start-up.
Flexible LDPE pipes distribute water throughout the structure, making it easy to add further lines, or drip systems etc. You can find our range of replacement spare parts here.
Why not have the added advantage of a battery operated Gardena Water Timer. Easy to install and easy to use. Essential for those days when you just can’t be there to operate the system manually.

Customers in the Blue and Red areas with an order value less then £75.00, shipping costs will be £4.95. For orders above £75.00, delivery is FREE. For customers in the Orange areas, shipping costs will be £80 for Eire and £30 for Northern Ireland irrespective of order value. Please note, the cost of £80 for customers in Eire includes a £50 customs clearance charge which we pay in advance on your behalf, ensuring there are no unexpected costs upon import.
For those very small orders, such as tape, books or irrigation spares, we may be able to offer a smaller charge to cover postage and packing, please call the office for a quote.
