The great British weather is changeable and unpredictable, making it the ideal climate for growing a wide range of fruits.
However, by its very nature, it doesn’t take long for the British weather to spoil a fruit harvest. Days of wet weather and blustery gales, or days of prolonged sunshine and heat can strip the plant of nutrients, all leading to a poor harvest.
There are also many pests to contend with. From birds stripping bushes and trees bare of fruit to egg-laying insects (such as moths and butterflies), there are many factors that can limit your fruit harvest.
Year after year, you struggle to protect your trees and shrubs, but you can finally rest as our high-quality fruit cages provide you with the ideal solution.
We have a wide range of fruit cages in pre-determined sizes. These all boast the same sturdy frame made from 25.4mm tubular galvanised, high-tensile steel.
They also come with everything you need to have a basic fruit cage in place:
We understand that some customers need something different from their fruit cages. It could be something as simple as adding another fruit cage door, or maybe you want to connect several fruit cages?
Our team are on hand to help. We can alter any of our designs or better still, why not work with our team to design and build your own bespoke fruit cage?

We are thrilled with this product - the steel rods are very heavy duty and look really robust, they all fitted together well and the netting is very sufficient for the job. One warning I would give is that the instructions imply that the pole joining nuts can self tap through the steel tubing .... this is way too optimistic: a pilot hole needed to be drilled first, then the self tappers lock up beautifully! Overall it seems a good product, seems very good value for money and will hopefully give us many years of service. JT |

Exceptionally well built. Download instructions on how to fit it together. Very reasonable priced. came 4 days after I ordered it. The only thing is that I would have liked a finer mesh as small white butterfly's are able to fold their wings back and go through the netting. I mainly use this product for growing sweet corn, peas, and other things that pigeons and carrion crows like. I will also like to grow spouts, and cabbages but as above the small white can get through so I need a finer mesh |

Steel fruit cage 3.8m x 3.8m - is actually 3.9m x 3.9m. Well designed and very sturdy, should last for years and is good value compared to plastic versions. Didn't opt for the wooden edges as they seemed expensive & I'll do my own thing to suit my specific site. You may need 2 Allen keys to do up the joints - 6mm metric & 1/4 imperial. The self-tapping screws will self-tap with care, so don't need pilot holes. |
